Position – Baylor University: Curator (Assistant or Associate Librarian)

The Baylor University Libraries seek an innovative, service-oriented second Curator to help build and expand access to the collections of the Armstrong Browning Library (ABL).  A research center and museum dedicated to the study of poets Robert Browning, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, and nineteenth-century literature and culture, the ABL promotes and supports the research, teaching, and appreciation of the Brownings and the wider field of nineteenth-century studies by faculty, students, scholars from around the world, and the general public. Working collaboratively with a team of library professionals, the Curator will contribute to the ABL’s mission through reference, instruction, outreach, and collection development. Recent graduates of an ALA-accredited program and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time, 12-month, on-site, academic-professional position with excellent benefits and faculty status.  Salary is $60,000 or more, commensurate with experience.  The successful candidate must hold a Master’s Degree from an ALA-accredited program.
